Eclipse plug-ins

Atollic has the rare experience of developing Eclipse based development tools. We have followed the development of the Eclipse platform over a number of years and can help microprocessor or RTOS vendors enter the market with Eclipse based products, reducing risk and shortening time-to-market.

We can provide the following services:

• Adapting Eclipse/CDT for a certain chip manufacturer and proprietary build tools (C/C++ compiler, assembler, linker and debugger backend).
• Building and branding a product package with Eclipse, build tools, tutorials, example applications, SFR header files, installation programs etc.
• Developing Eclipse plug-ins for support of proprietary features (emulators, RTOS debug views, etc)
• Developing Eclipse plug-ins for new features (chip initialization, communication protocol views in the debugger perspective, code coverage analysis, etc)
• Building Eclipse IDE’s for other applications than C/C++ development, such as embedded Linux, Automotive platform generation or supporting new programming languages.

We have been using Eclipse as our own primary IDE for a number of years already, and develop Eclipse based products and Eclipse plug-ins for some of the largest chip and tool manufactures in the world. We can inject Eclipse development expertise both in terms of Eclipse IDE development, plug-in development, and Eclipse RCP application development.
