Our staff has years of experience from automotive applications, both application development and development of tools to facilitate product development for automotive projects. Atollic tools support various types of development for automotive systems, such as configuration and code generation tools for OSEK, AUTOSAR and CAN drivers.

Our staff have developed many ECUs for various types of products from a number of automotive manufacturers. This includes application development as well as development of CAN drivers for a number of microprocessors and external CAN devices. One of our automotive specialists have held training courses on engine management software development for high-end CPU's in several European countries.

Our engineers have made an OSEK-COM implementation for a microprocessor family, and one of our senior staff members have been member within both the technical committée and 2 out of 3 working groups in the international OSEK committée. Furthermore, we have experience from projects based on µITRON, and we are currently developing tools for the new AUTOSAR platform. Our main customer in this field is one of the largest microprocessor manufacturers in the world.

In terms of application development, our staff have experience from projects within engine management, telematics, gearbox control, speed radar, airbag control, road tolling, car handsfree equipment, as we well as other types of automotive software; such as platform development for a heavy construction equipment manufacturer.

Upon request we follow the MISRA-C coding standards, and using our experience from the Aerospace area we can offer product development following the highest of quality standards.
